“My horse is an off-track thoroughbred and during his racing career he was administered a multitude of shots because he was a 'bleeder' and had exercise induced bleeding from his nose when he raced. To prevent this he was given injections in his jugular vein, and now he is traumatized when he sees a shot. When he was seriously injured by casting his hoof on a fence he needed sedated and the only thing that worked was Dormosedan gel. I had to administer it under his tongue each time I changed the dressing on his hoof to get him to stand still. It was the only thing that I could do and was less stress on him and me. He is completely healed now and when his teeth needed floated recently I administered some of the gel and he stood calmly so vet could work on his mouth. Thank goodness for Dormosedan gel!”
