“This flea med does work and reordering it for my 2 house cats and 1 outdoor feral. I do wish it came in a fish flavor since it is not easy to fool my cats by putting it in their food. Eventually I do trick them into eating it, but it has a beefy smell and it's not their favorite.”
“We have been using Comfortis for years. It keeps my dog fea-free throughout the year. My vet stopped carrying it and recommended Bravecto. Big mistake--my dog was eating at and scratching herself raw--tearing at her mouth, paws, all over. The company was good and refunded the cost of the Bravecto, but we still had to suffer through that allergic reaction that took a long time to clear. Needless to say we went back to Comfortis and now things are fine again. The only down side is that a flea has to actually bite the dog in order for the insecticide to work. But since our yard and neighborhood are relatively free-free, that doesn't happen often. I like using Allivet since they offer a good price, ship for free, and get in touch to let me know when I need a new prescription. They also stay in touch about the order. The only inconvenience is that since my vet won't fax their prescription, I have to make a vet visit to get the prescription and then mail it into Allivet. It just takes planning ahead.
