“The only "issue" is getting my barely-tame feral kitty to eat it. I crush it and mix it in with a fresh serving of wet food. Then it's a game to get her to eat the entire serving by tempting her with treats in the wet food. After getting the treatment in her, it does seem to work. I am glad there's an oral preventative since I can't use a topical on a cat that won't allow herself to be held or picked up, because, well, she's still very feral. Sweet, and my little golden shadow, but still feral.”
“I have never had issues using this product on my cat (ragdoll) and dog (shiba inu). They're between 10 to 20 lbs. I've never seen them have fleas on this specific medication. They have had flea outbreaks on previous medications that we've used like Frontline and K9 Advantix. My dog's trainer has told me these brands are no longer effective against fighting fleas, depending on where you live. The fleas have built up an immunity to these medications. The only negative about this medication is that it smells horrible. When I take out a pill I can smell it immediately and so can my dog. He runs away from it! But I've recommended this medication to my other friends. One has a staffordshire pitbull and the other has an australian shepherd. Both of those dogs gobble up the pill without any problem or hesitation and they do not mind the smell.”
“I have been using Comfortis for several years with dogs and cats. No fleas and no side effects. I use the same weight dosage on the cats as dogs (as opposed to the higher dosage recommended for cats) and have had good results.”
