“I use Chlorhexidine wash for my dog's recurring pyoderma. The quality and price for a gallon (!) is fantastic! If it's not bath day I can simply dab cotton balls soaked in this to treat the areas. A great product to have on hand at all times.”
“Much Much Much cheaper than getting it at vet or pet store. Just remember to mix with distilled water to achieve recommended ratio prescribed by vet. Totally Great!”
“This is what our vet uses on animals as an antimicrobial and disinfectant. My dog has allergies related to atopic dermatitis so we have to keep him very clean. I soak his paws in a diluted solution of chlorhexidine nearly daily and it provides relief. I recommend for all pets with allergies.”
“Vet recommended Chlorhexidine for cleaning my Golden Retriever's abraded spots from scratching or hot spots. A little goes a long way as you dilute it 1:128 (or there abouts, I go by color). This is the stuff doctors use to disinfect their hands so you know it's good. Unlike peroxide, it keeps on working after it has dried. I keep spray bottles full of the dilution and also add to the shampoo when I bathe him. It kills the staph that is naturally on their skin so it doesn't proliferate on any open spots and make them itchy. A gallon here costs about the same as 8 oz in a drugstore!”
