“Katie was brought to Pet Smart from the local shelter as they had a 'promotion day' for their dogs who needed adoption. I was there to buy a collar for Bruce. She is a 30 lb full grown pitt bull mix. I think she may be mixed with terrier...IE the size, but looks like a blond pit. I wanted to name her KITTY KITTY, because of her small stature, but named her Katie instead. She just walked up to me and looked at me with those doeful eyes and said to me 'I want you!' I was not in the market for another dog, but God puts us where we need to be. She is sweet though a little skittish, but I hope our home will erase those bad memories over time. I put her on the Trifexis as she had been infested with fleas in her former life. Of course the shelters cannot afford to give all the dogs this med as it is too expensive, I wish they could though as it has made a BIG difference in her life.”
