“this product was suggested to us by our petsitter (a former vet tech) after our kitten started having issues with peeing outside the litter box. our petsitter said her former boss/vet had a cat with similar issues and this was the ONLY product that they found would work - and i agree. i was able to successfully remove the urine on items that could be thrown in the washer and our hard surfaces (VINEGAR IS MAGIC), but the carpet was a whole different ballgame. i initially ordered a few of the smaller bottles of urine away to see if it would work on our high pile carpet, and i was satisfied with the results. but there are a few things to know about this product: 1) as indicated, you will need to use the same amount of product as there is urine. this can be hard to figure out. so i doused the entire area generously, waited for it to dry, and then was able to figure out where i needed to re-apply. you probably will need more than you think... 2) this product has a strong smell. i had read this before, but thought it would mean a more vinegar-y or chemical type smell. no. it smells like a grandma who has gone a little heavy on the floral fragrance. the smell is very strong for a few days, and then it will go away once the product is totally dry and done working. 3) the gallon size comes with a pump that i found difficult to use. the smaller bottles i had previously ordered had a small flip open spout (like a contact lens cleaner) - for me, this was a much easier way of cleaning and controlling where the product goes. overall, the product is effective on removing urine odors from carpet (even where other products failed), and i would recommend it to anyone in a similar situation.”

“We have multiple cat peeing issues (spraying on baseboards and elimination as well), and this product is definitely helping. We're still working on it, but I finally see light at the end of the tunnel. Once I have cleaned with this product, I am noticing that the cats don't pee again in the same area as readily as they were.
