“The manufacturer/merchant from who I had been buying the 4% chlorhexidine before is no longer selling that strong of a solution. I spent much time searching the internet for the 4%. Didn't find it sold anywhere til today. Yay! My dog has weird sebbhoric-type skin issues that no vet can seem to figure out what it is. I've tried all sorts of shampoos and allergy meds. I homemake my dog's food. He gets sufficient amounts of omega 3s (and 6). This shampoo seems to keep his skin issues from getting horribly worse - though they do continue to progress negatively. Oatmeal shampoos do not help. ACV irritates. After using the Chlor 4% shampoo, I rinse my dog with a diluted rinse of Betadine (povidone iodine). It seems to reduce his inflamed breakouts on his skin, as well as providing a bacteria fighting layer o his skin.”
