“**CAUTION** I recently purchased these treats to give to my dog to help reduce tartar build-up. I had given our dog one of these treats and after some time I noticed him making odd movements with his head and mouth. After a short observation I realized that he had gotten the treat soft enough that it was now lodged on a back tooth and stuck half way down his throat. At this point the dog was choking and could neither cough the treat up nor swallow it. A which point I had to put my hand into his mouth and try to get the treat out of his throat and off of his back tooth. I do not even want to think about what could have happened had I not been around to notice this and help him.”
