“Our vet used this off label in our cat who had a yeast infection in his ears. The first time we used it (last year) it was fine. This year, our cat is shaking his head, has had vomiting, diarrhea, and loss of appetite beginning a couple of days after the medication was administered. This medication is approved for use in DOGS ONLY. I would never use it again in my cat. The potential side effects listed on the label for dogs and cats are more serious than those of the ear infection and I will look for a shorter acting, milder medication the next time and will ask to see the label info for any medications we use in the future for our pets. Terrible experience. He has lost a pound in a week and is barely eating.”
