“All local stores do not sell any tapeworm medicine anymore and have had to resort to the vet to obtain it. Vets want to see your animal before giving the medicine, adding to the bill. Cats are indoor and WILL NOT and DO NOT go outside , no less a vehicle ride which btw is traumatizing to mine two. Being able to order online makes this a much easier process to eliminate this problem.”
“Bought this product after reading the reviews and I needed a medicine without Rx. Shipment was quick as soon as Allivet got Rx approval for another item that I had on the same order. Allivet definitely has the lowest prices. The tablet was easy to crumble and mix in with wet food. However, my finicky cat smelled the medicine and won't eat the food. So I cannot tell how effective the dewormer is. It's probably easier to buy a Rx dewormer that can be administered through the skin like flea meds.”
“This killed my precious kitty! She weighed 7.5 pounds, so I administered one tablet. She wheezed and ran around the house, started frothing and convulsing.. I immediately took her to the animal ER. I tried breathing into her but it was too late, within minutes she was dead in my arms. It's very rare that cats will choke on tablets, and it's rare that they will have a bad reaction, but it does happen! I wish I could have saved her :-(”
