“Our 12 y/o Chihuahua mix usually can jump up on our couch, but stopped. Went to our Vet and he was prescribed Metacam. Shortly after starring him on this medication he was once again able to jump on our couch again.”

The Metacam smells like honeysuckle and my Dusty comes up and will put his face up to me, he wants his meds. He is comfortable and eating better than before the Metacam. The 2 different doses don't leave him dopey but he is alert during the day and by early morning he is ready to eat his morning meal. We do our best to keep his metcam around the same time and every now and again he will need another .5 in afternoon if he has upset stomach and he will come to me for another light dose. His points have darkened and his weight is a little above 7#'s. He has always been a smaller cat especially compared to his brother whom we lost going on 3 years. This med helps inflammation, talk to your vet because you will need a prescription for the med.”
