I purchase this product because my little precious 4 legged baby boy, Ollie, has diabetes. He gets 2 insulin (VETSULIN) shots per day, on a strict feeding schedule, limited treats that the vet has, is on billberry powder and other meds to help keep his eyes from getting cataracts. He is 10 and so far we are doing great! My VET HIGHLY recommended we use this Optixcare Eye Health salve for his eyes once a day as well. I will do anything to help my baby boy. I love him so much. This product has GREAT REVIEWS! May not prevent cataracts but it can help keep them from maturing fully. Ollie does have an immature cataract in his right eye. He is still seeing somewhat out of it but can't do surgery if It doesn't fully develop. I am ok with that as long as he can see. His left eye....so far....thank GOD....seems to be doing great. Take care of your fur babies with diabetes....keep them on strict feeding schedule, insulin shots at the same time daily, and research how to preserve their eyes. I will always be glad to talk to anyone regarding this issue. OPTIXCARE EYE HEALTH is a MUST! Thank you! (by the way....my little Ollie has had diabetes going on 2 years and we walk daily)

My daughter's dog sees a canine ophthalmologist who prescribed the Optixcare Eye Health for use after EDTA. The last tube is almost empty, and it just made sense to buy it here while I was purchasing her other prescription med.
