“Been researching and trying food with our pup for 9 months now. This food is expensive AND it is worth it. (Cheapest price I found for it here) Every ingredient is quality and intentional. The lamb is grass fed which makes omega 3 to 6 ratios closer to the 1:1 - 1:2 ratio which nature intended (look it up...) I think this is an example where you pay for health now or save for sickness later. I've tested it against Canidae single protein lamb, and Taste of the Wild (TOTW) ancient mountain. This one wins for taste over the Canidae hands down and is also preferred by my dog over TOTW. The smell and quality of ingredient award goes to Acana without question. If money gets tight I'd go for TOTW Ancient Mountain. TOTW includes egg, so if you need a truly single animal protein for food sensitivities go for this. (TOTW has egg). The fact that it also includes organ meat, cartilage, fat and tripe all from the same animal is both evidence and logic based.”
