NexGard PLUS Chewables for Dogs Reviews

4.4 Rating 15 Reviews
I get this for my dog instead of Simparica because I believe it covers more than just heartworm and fleas. The only drawback? My dog hates the taste until I drag it through a container of whipped cream cheese! Then he can't eat it fast enough! Thanks for making such a great product for my Grayson!

The product works for my dogs. The problem is getting them to chew it. Both dogs spit it out. The regular Nexgard was like a dog treat but this product needs a better taste for dogs. I add peanut butter and they swallow it whole. Maybe add peanut butter to disguise the bad taste the dogs are experiencing.

I have been giving Ace Nexguard Plus for about 8 months and I trust it's the best for my dog for fleas, ticks, and 4 different types of worms. One chewable a month and he likes the taste so administering this medicine has never been a issue

The Nexguard PLUS works great for all that it’s identified to do, but the flavor is a little tough to get our puppy to swallow. We coat it with a little Beef Bone Broth and she takes it.

NexGard plus is great for your pets because it’s 2 pills in 1 every month and smaller in size . It’s a win win for your pet and the pets caregiver.

My adult Irishdoodle will not eat the tablets willingly. I have to cut the tablets in pieces and try to disguise the pieces in a tasty treat like bread with peanut butter. Even then, he might eat the treat part and spit out the Nexgard. I wish the Nexgard tablets smelled & tasted super yummy, so that giving him his monthly dose wasn't such a battle.

Only been using NexGard maybe six months. I like it because I give the dog one less pill a month.i don't think he likes the flavor as much so I give it to him with his food. I cut it up and mix it in.

I used to use Trifexis and when the vet said Nexgard was a newer and better product, I thought it wouldn’t hurt. I asked my wife to stop giving my dog the weekly chewables she was giving her dogs so I could start mine on these. 2 weeks later he is scratching still and her little princesses are walking around wondering what his issue is… I hope the second dose kicks in better…
