“I have been using Heartgard Plus ever since it became available. I give it 12 months of every year. I live in Connecticut and could probably not give it during the winter but why take any chances? I have had no problems with a dog ever refusing to take it, I give my dogs this and they love it. I break it up into small pieces since I have toy dogs. (I have also had massive breeds in my younger years, also no problems.) Not one dog ever came up with heart worms or any other worm for that matter.
