“If your pet is being treated for congestive heart failure (CHF) this is the brand of furosemide you want. For my dog, generic drugs did not work well and while on a generic his CHF was poorly controlled. Switching him to Salix resulted in a dramatic improvement in his health and control of CHF related problems like breathing rate exercise tolerance and coughing. I was also able to reduce his furosemide dose by 25% by switching to Salix. I would recommend avoiding generics and use Salix for your pet, some medications are worth the extra money and this is one of them.”
