“The gaiters did an excellent job keeping snow out of my boots during an 8-hour snowshoe excursion where the powder depth regularly exceeded the height of the gaiters. A small amount of wear is visible on the inner surface where the snowshoe bindings clamped the material over the metal lace-hooks and eyelets of my hiking boots, but this isn't surprising.”
