“My biggest problem with the platform is having to switch back and forth between an arrow cursor and the screen grabber cursor. I need the arrow cursor to move and adjust orders on the screen or accurately click on lines to modify or remove them. I need the screen grabber cursor to move the chart around within the window. I extensively depend on both cursors, but one cursor should contain the functionality of both cursors, as is common in many other charting platforms. Usually holding the left mouse button, for example, turns the cursor into a screen grabber on other platforms.
Everytime I update the platform, Norton antivirus finds lots of issues that it quarantines. I then have to manually deal with sometimes a dozen false positives. Please submit your updates to the major antivirus venders to get them approved, as this is a constant problem.
On the positive side, Multicharts is very customizable for almost all elements. It's easy to create and simultaneously open multiple work spaces each with multiple charts. The platform functions well and is usually reliable.
Going forward, I suggest some native inclusion of AI geared toward Multicharts that can create studies, analytics, and automatic trading strategies based on user prompt. You could also gear the AI to analyze trading styles of users to come up with suggestions and ideas for improving their trading or offering automated trading to match their manual styles.”

“AMP supo aprovechar el hueco que dejaron otras compañías de renombre y hacer accesible a mayoría de "minoristas" al fascinante mundo del trading. Tanto con Multicharts, Tower, Meta y varias más entre varias.
Tuvo que saber adaptarse al uso de las mismas pero tienen más de bueno que lo otro.
Como crítica, se puede decir que el incremento de los márgenes en algunas ocasiones es preocupante al igual que la suba de entrada y salida.
Lo otro es , la poca versatilidad que hay para fondear y , peor aún, hacer retiros. Teniendo como una sola opción (costosa) para extranjeros.
Mientras tanto, se valora más lo positivo que lo negativo, por lo que nos deja conforme.”
“Amp's Multicharts platform has very good for me. I like that it is easy and straightforward to use. The chart trading feature is a big plus to manage all sorts of trade strategies from start to finish. I find it much easier and faster than using a "Dome" scale to enter and manage trades. The charts themselves are crisp and full color. I find that everything within the platform is easy to use and figure out so you won't be wasting time in learning how to get your charts and platform setup, which gives you more time to work on strategies and even more importantly, the mental aspect of trading well.
The only negative thing that I can think of is that I wish it had the ability to be a "Server Side Trade Execution" , so if your internet feed dropped out your stop orders would still be in effect. After several years of using it, that has not happened to me, but it could, so other than that, I think the platform is great and it being free through AMP is even better. Lastly, AMP is great Broker with best commissions as a bonus. Hope this helps others in determining which platform to choose.”
