“The platform is amazing. fully customisable. fast execution, easy to use. friendly user interface.
I can trust it.
room of improvement on my side, would be a Charting and window grouping.
DOM is the best!
Cheers”
“I have used Jigsaw Daytradr off and on for a few years and it will be off here soon when my current subscription expires. It is a great tool to use and it has been evolving over time and getting better. You really should spend some time digging in deep to understand this software to get the greatest bang for your buck and that is a big buck that it costs. If I remember right, $50 a month or $500 a year, sometimes you can catch a sale. I think last time I paid $400 for this past year. That in itself might not be such a big deal, but the $500 to purchase the software and then an additional $500 a year is quite steep in my opinion and when this subscription expires in a few weeks, I will probably have to walk away. I have been using other software that is free with prop firm usage so I will most likely just use those.
I keep coming back to Daytradr though, because I really want to use it, I had adapted to it and its what I am used to, I just don't want to pay that price.
Their support has almost always gotten back to me within a day so I have no complaints about that.
They say they don't have any plans for copy trading which is disappionting. I understand their concerns about copy trading but they should include it with a disclaimer to use at your own risk.
Also, something else it doesn't do that I would like to see that is in almost all other trading software I have used and that is grouping. I now will snap things together but you can't group components together so that when you change the symbol on one, all the others will follow. That is a hassle if you like to look around for different things to trade. If you just use a few symbols all the time there should be no problem.
There are plenty of videos out there to see how it works before putting a lot of money into it. I think they have a short trial you can try. When you purchase it, you can still use it without a subscription but you can't place trades without the subscription. Unfortunately, at least for me, it is not easy to watch Daytradr for cues on trading and then trade on a chart. It's just not that easy, I have tried it.
As mentioned, my biggest complaint is the cost but other than that it is a decent platform but probably quite different than anything you may have used.”
“Jigsaw daytrader is ideal for orderflow traders. Both DOM and footprint chart give an edge in trading, by identifying price levels where absorption is accumulating signaling a potential turn in a trend or a breakout. Together with imbalances and the bid/ask interaction I can easily identify price levels for a potential trade. You learn to wait for the imbalances to happen and once they are tested agian and see the price hodling confirmed by the delta and volume, it signals to add to a trade. Jigsaw daytradr helped me learn a new perspective about the market moves.”
“Jigsaw is the best ladder dom tool on the market. If you trader Ladders, Jigsaw is a must have. Occasionally Jigsaw can be a bit buggy as they do constant updates but it still beats anything else in the ladder/dom space.”
“After years with Jigsaw I can say it’s a very stable platform and very user friendly. The owners also put out a lot of content to help explain order flow concepts which is a great value by itself.”
“Their program has become super unstable. It takes me days on end to get my workspace configured, only to have some issue pop up. Tech support is responsive, but there are way too many tweaks, file replacements, deletions, etc that need to happen to get the program working well. I really want to love this program mostly because of the Pricesquawk plugin, but honestly I spend way too much time with support to fix problems. It's not worth it.”
