“This is great, and I found out that there is a Gen 2 after I got this but I'm not salty about it. It holds very well. One thing to note, after installing you will have a hole that opens up behind your gearbox. What I did is I used double-sided Gorilla Tape over the hole, this made the plate too much of an angle so I did it to the entire side to keep it level. Do make sure that the side you are going to plug in your QD works, if it didn't then flip it around and try again. I will get the Gen 2 and do this for all my compatible guns.”

“This is awesome! I just found out about gen2 but I’m not salty about it. So fyi, if nothing is plugged in you will have a hole with directly behind your gearbox. I wasn’t comfortable with that so I used double sided gorilla tape to block it and shim it on more straight since I had that tape on the bottom. It holds my Magpul QD tight!”
