RETRO Arms CNC Gearbox V3 8mm QSC
Spring holders have grooves, so the springs for tapped plate and trigger switch will not jump off.
All threads are now shaped instead of cut for better strength.
Both of the gearbox parts are centered by milled grooves and edges.
For better durability, they added more material around cylinder head part of the gearbox.
Outer edges are now cut off.
Package includes: CNC Upper Gearbox ICS AR15 (EBB), set of screws.

Bought this gearbox for a G36 DSG project. It fits in the lower receiver like a glove. The window for the trigger contacts is a bit narrow; fitting an etu requires some wire bending for the board to sit properly. Low profile bearings fit snug and don't interfere with the selector plate. The QSC guide makes it easy to remove springs for maintenance. My only gripe for this gearbox is the hole for the trigger spring. The spring doesn't sit too well and pops out when closing the shell. This is common for v3 shells but it seems more tedious with this particular one. The build uses an m170 spring, 16:1 shs gears paired with a rocket dual sector, and an ASG 28k motor. I haven't chrono'd it yet, but believe it is right around 40 rps and the shell is holding up.
