“I really wanted this to work. I was so excited for it. I've tried it on a couple of clients now and not only can I not get it to mix properly (the lumps just won't go!) but the way it lightens is extremely patchy. In certain sections it actually looked like grill patterns on my clients hair like when you bbq a steak or something. I attempted to use it for free hand balayage. I really wanted this to work. In my brain, I thought I could use it with a 9 lvl lightener and get a lighter result (considering most clays only lighten maybe 5 lvls) but it ended up creating a lot more work for me in the end having to fix their hair. If someone has some tips on how to get this to work better, please let me know! Otherwise it's just money thrown in the bin”
