“The jacket impresses with excellent and robust workmanship at the seams and tapes. The fit, with a slightly longer cut at the hips and long sleeves, is optimal for long and difficult ski tours in demanding terrain. For classic skiing on the slopes, the jacket has a pocket on the left sleeve for a ski map. The chest area is also a good place to stow a mobile phone, radio or my Inreach, keeping it far enough away from the avalanche transceiver not to cause any interference. This is more than practical for my work as an IFMGA mountain guide and polar guide. The hood is generously cut and can be adjusted in all directions, so a helmet fits easily underneath. I will enjoy this jacket for a very long time and I am already looking forward to the patina that Amundsen Sports is known for.”
