“These shorts are excellent. They break in perfectly and feel wonderful doing any kind of physical activity from hiking to biking. The only flaw with these shorts is there is only 1 back pocket. Why? I don't know. seems like an odd choice to have only one back pocket. I frequently use both back pockets in my pants and shorts so it's absence is very noticeable to me. It would be great if they could add another back pocket.”
“I bought these shorts because I was nostalgic for the old Patagonia stand-up shorts or the Filson tin- cloth shorts that I lived in in the 80s and 90s. These seemed to fit the bill. They're lighter than I expected. That could be good or bad, we'll see. I'm an athletic 5'7" /160 lb with a 31/32 waist, and the mediums fit perfectly. The construction and features are excellent, and just enough. I spend a lot of time outdoors and on the water. I plan to pretty much live in them this summer, so I'll be putting them to the test. I’ve had them on everyday and they’ve aged amazingly. Easy to take care of and re waxing is simple. I just heat the wax and apply with a brush then iron off the excess with a towel then I’m good to go.”
