“I bought the first pair of these shorts about two years ago and liked them so much that I immediately bought three more pairs. In general they are very good shorts, but they do have one problem that should be corrected. The problem is with the metal shank button that you fasten to keep the shorts up, it’s the metal button just above the zipper. After about two years of use the metal shank button has ripped its way through the corduroy material and has fallen off from the shorts and this has happened to three of the four pairs of these shorts that I bought. I have replaced the missing metal shank buttons with regular buttons on the shorts and I’m enjoying the shorts again.
I would have given five stars, but because of the button issue I can only give four.”
