“The Anorak is quite waxed so I contacted your customer service if it is possible that the wax from the anorak stains the car seat. I got a very friendly answer and how to think about this.

“I ordered this jacket and was really excited because the design and quality looked great.
But when it arrived, the jacket was unfortunately heavy from being wet and sticky from the wax I think the jacket is coated with, therefore made it unwearable. I let it dry for 2 days but it was still wet and sticky. I reached out to customer service with photos as soon it arrived of course and explained what happened and after 5 days (3 business days) with no response, I decided to return it. The return process itself was a bit of a pain & had to pay to ship it back since it is international for me. (I live in the US) but I was disappointed to have no communication at all, especially for such an expensive item.
I completely understand that things can go wrong during shipping or production, and I was hoping to exchange or get some guidance before returning. I just would have appreciated at least a short reply or acknowledgment!”

Regarding your Heroes Anorak, this is a heavy anorak that can feel sticky at first. The sticky feeling comes from the wax, which can be compared to grease. The grease makes the wax feel sticky. This is how the product is intended to be, but we understand that it may not be what you expect when shopping online.
Regarding your return, please feel free to contact customer@amundsensports.com if you experience any issues with the return process again. In general, you should have received a return label from our carrier once the return was completed.

“These sell out quickly, so I thought it best to get a review in before they drop off the web site. I’m 6’4” 48” chest and the XXL is a perfect fit. They are over sized in order to have space for a base and mid layer, so there is No need to incorporate any extra sizing to accommodate that. If you struggle to put it on with just a base layer - it’s too small and your order is undersized. The size guide is correct. It arrives pre-waxed, so probably best to keep it in the bag its despatched with for the was could spoil other clothing if hung up in a wardrobe. The detachable fur lining in the hood is very useful, for if you already have a hooded mid layer, then you don’t need the fur lining. Pockets are nice and deep and the jacket drops down to mid thigh length. I bought this jacket for the Shetlands in winter when its snows and for windy days, and that’s all the waxed canvas is designed to repel, NOT rain! Could really do with a hero’s chest pocket or compartment for accessories etc.”
