“This hat has quickly become one of my favorites. Though it is wool, it isn't a thick wool that overheats your head. It is well constructed and reinforced to maintain it's shape so the front panel will not collapse over time. The brim is on the shorter side compared to a standard baseball hat, I have found this makes it easier for travel.”

I tried one of these on in Norway. I loved it but I didn’t buy it (should have done). As soon as Amundsen had new ones in stock, I ordered one. But oh no! The cap design has changed. This 2025 version has a very high ‘front bit’ unlike last year’s. I don’t like it. It is reminiscent of a cheap American style cap as opposed to a shallower height cap in the style of English cricket. But I am keeping it in the hope that in time I can flatten it out ; plus it is the only wool cap available in the whole of GB so I have no choice. Amundsen Sports: it was good: why change it?!”
