Anatomy Audiobook Reviews

4.3 Rating 7 Reviews
While we loved the content of Apologia Anatomy, we found that many vocabulary terms are not pronounced correctly on the audio. The phonetic pronunciation guides in the text are correct, but the audio does not follow those guides. At first, I thought that maybe some pronunciations were regional differences (I'm a retired RN in the PNW), but after verifying with multiple other healthcare professionals across the country, I found the same pronunciations nationwide. Examples: chyme, epithelium, integumentary, cochlea, and others.

Love the audio book. I just wish there were more options for reading speed. Its a little fast for my son to keep up reading along but the slower option is so slow its distorted. Grade 6

Reading is at a good pace for my 9 year old, background sounds make it more enjoyable and voice is pleasing to listen to.

We wont be using this until the Spring semester, but Im excited to be able to just click on the spot we are at, rather than having to work my way through the CD!

So happy with the audio purchase. Will be buying the audio for Astronomy next! This really helps my son work a bit more independently and saves my voice!
