The phonetic pronunciation guides in the text are correct, but the audio does not follow those guides. At first, I thought that maybe some pronunciations were regional differences (I'm a retired RN in the PNW), but after verifying with multiple other healthcare professionals across the country, I found the same pronunciations nationwide. Examples: chyme, epithelium, integumentary, cochlea, and others.”
