Short video. Thought was going to be more informative and helpful when I purchased the video lessons. I thought they were more instructional than they are. Would save your money and possibly try the self paced lessons instead but I'm not sure how instructional they will be either.

These video lessons and experiments are worth the money! The production quality is excellent, and the teacher, Sherri Seligson, is effective because of her warmth, humor, and clear instruction. The digital access is easy to use and helps you keep track of which lessons you have completed. While we did also purchase the text, we use the videos as our primary source of learning and only use the book for notetaking and review. Thanks, Apologia!

These video lessons are so good for my visual learners. The moving illustrations are especially helpful for understanding concepts and the teacher is engaging and nice to listen to. I really appreciate how the videos are organized and clearly labeled so I can find exactly what I need.

The content and presentation is great. However, there is background music that I personally find very distracting that I would love to be able to turn off. I have difficulty focusing entirely on what is being said, and would appreciate very much if music could be optional.

The science video lessons are a fantastic reinforcement to the lessons and experiments we read in the textbook and student workbook. Mrs. Seligson does a wonderful job explaining the material, and watching her do the first experiment helped us to see whether or not we followed the instructions correctly. It also gave us suggestions on how to make better observations - which will be crucial in upcoming labs.
