“It's simple, clear directions. I can read them and my daughter is able to do the work on her own. This makes her feel great about it because other subjects are very difficult with her severe dyslexia.”
“I love how unincombored it is. It's exciting. The kids always want to do math. I have loved this series! I am a bit of a math head, and I love the way this curriculum breaks down "difficult" concepts into bite-size pieces. I love how it gives multiple strategies for solving problems so that any child, no matter the learning style, can understand how to accomplish something, and if a child understands the concept at the first strategy, the rest given reinforces that knowledge.
It also explains things that I have forgotten over the years so that I can easily pick it back up and give the child even more examples on my own.
I would imagine that parents who hated math in their own school days would be reengaged and learn from this curriculum as well.”
“This is actually a review for Level 1, as we haven't used level 2 yet: I'm pleased with this math curriculum. There are so many great hands-on activities to help make the math stick. They can easily be skipped if necessary, but I have my son do most of them. I love that it teaches the kids to think in 10s and that it gives them multiple strategies to find answers.
One thing I would like improved is to have more review and to have tests occasionally.”
