Math Level 5 Build-Your-Own Set Reviews

4.9 Rating 34 Reviews
I appreciate the spiral learning style as its helpful to not only learn new material, but to reinstate topics already learned. I appreciate the multiple ways to solve some types of equations, which leads to kids being able to find what method works best for them.

As stated above, my daughter and I are very creative and visual people - my son, not so much but has a harder time listening to explanations so all of us appreciate the visual lessons. We are at level 5 and I panicked when I realized you stop at 6! I sure hope you can offer more levels because your format has been an enormous help!

I love that the lessons are not overwhelming and repetitive. We have tried so many different math curriculums and this one has been our favorite so far!

My daughter and I are loving math level 5. She was using an online program that just was not working with her learning style. She was in tears over math almost daily. Apologia math has been great, no more tears! Everything is very simple to follow with clear directions. Most of the time she can read the lesson herself! I love that it is engaging and colorful but not too distracting from the main point, learning math!

The books are much better all around than the easy peasy books we used before. They give better instruction, have more variety, more content and are all around better quality.

We have already completed Levels 3 and 4 in the past year. Now we're working on Level 5. Apologia Mathematics is Christian based, as well as, child and parent friendly. The photos and illustrations feature real children and animals, and they are quite beautiful. I must also state that the math lessons are fantastic. My daughter says that of all the homeschool math curriculums we've completed, Apologia is her favorite. Her confidence in her ability to learn mathematical skills have increased by leaps and bounds.

We're on day two of Math 5 and love it, it follows the same set up as the other Apologia Math texts. This is our second year with Apologia math and after trying several math curriculums, we stayed with this one. It's the perfect mixture of practicing math facts (which is so needed for these grades), games, and practice pages. We love Apologia's Math. (written by John's wife.)

Ive got twins boys moving through this set. They love the content and the activities. I love the pace they are able to set and feel accomplished. Its a joy to see them really committed to their own learning. Thank you for putting out an amazing math curriculum centered on God.
