My son used this book during his homeschool high school years. He loved it so much that it influenced him to become a Biology major in college. We were impressed with the high level of preparation this book gave him.

I am so thankful for a great curriculum that provides us with a lesson plan right there in the student book so she knows what needs to be done in a day! We have used Apologia science for many years & thats one of the reasons... AND of course, because of the amazing content too! So, after our shopping, my high schooler knew exactly what to complete in her Advanced Biology studies when we got home! I am definitely a fan of Apologia's science curriculum for your homeschool!

I love Apologia! It actually covers stuff in their high school curricula that isnt covered until late in College Biology II, Biochemistry, or A&P II. One of the best science curriculums Ive ever had!

I want to tell you a little story... most of us mindlessly choose high school science for our kids. We do what the public school does, we do what we did when we were in school, we do what the homeschooling mom down the street does. But, how often do we do what meets the needs of our own child... You see, our oldest daughter is an artist and a photographer. She didnt choose Apologia's Advanced Biology because shes some biology whiz (although she did great in Biology!), she chose it to learn even more about the human body in order to help her with her art and photography! Think outside the box when it comes to curriculum! Think forward. Think big. Think unique.

I'm an RN and was very impressed with the level of detail and how complete it is. I'd say it's almost on level with a college-level anatomy class. My 10th grader is using this for his science this year and has learned a lot.
