“The TV is brilliant. If it weren't for the sound, I would happily have given it 5 stars. The speakers on the TV are not great, but that is forgivable given the very narrow profile which makes it so excellent for hanging on the wall. What is not so forgivable is the poor performance of the SP11RA sound bar which is supposedly the ideal match for this TV. The sound from the soundbar is only average at best, but the integration with the TV is diabolical. Using the preferred HDMI eARC connection, the volume jumps painfully when moving from normal playback to 1.3 times speed on our PVR. No such problem when connected via Optical cable, but in this case the TV Remote functions (volume up/down, mute, power off) do not flow through to the soundbar, and you have to additionally use the soundbar remote for these basic functions. I am a long admirer of LG appliance quality, but this is a long way below standard, I'm sorry to say.”
