“I've had these leads a few times now and once I got used to the button doing the opposite of normal extendable leads (what is normally stop lets the lead extend!) I would never go back to the standard leads. The beauty of them is that when you press the lock button the lead won't get any longer but unlike standard leads it does still retract if the dog comes towards you so you don't end up with the lead dragging on the ground or tangling around the dogs legs. I would recommend both the small and medium models but did find the spring was not man enough for the large lead. The leads are well made and the lifespan (with a dog that pulls) appears to be about 2 years.”
