“Having had heavily planted aquariums in the past and only fairly recently gone over to a rock-based Cichlid tank, I wanted a plant that would not be affected by the hard water, high PH and the attacks from the fish (real plants only lasted a month or so). I was somewhat sceptical whether the plants would look realistic enough, but having put 2 of the "plants" in my 8 foot, 1200 litre aquarium must say I am very impressed with the life-like quality of them. It is only when you get right next to the aquarium, and even then you can't be entirely sure, that you wonder whether they are real or not.”
