Juist tested it now, adequate light, handy to Be able to clip it onto something, and also to be able to place on a flat surface and it will stand up. Only downside is the pulse button doesn't work

Angle head design very practical. Sound bit of kit. By using "3 x AA in D sized shell" battery conversion units (a few bucks on ebay) there is no need to have misgivings re' battery size and rechargeability.

Had the torch for a while now, works great bright (definitely brighter then the incandescent bulbs that the originals had) and is really handy due to the angle head design. the lenses the torch comes with are not super useful in a civilian setting but they do help retain night vision. the torch is not as sturdy as i would've wanted but overall its a great torch that's worth the money .

I bought two of these Anglehead torches recently, and blown away with them. They are sturdy and bright, and can be clipped onto the front of your gear at night. Definitely worth the pittance of $25.
