We have done many self guided bike tours throughout Europe and Japan and thus were a little wary of doing a guided tour. But now i know - it is the only way to do VietNam!! Our 3 guides were phenomenol with their bike know-how, touring know-how, history and culture stories/lore. Our favorite part was the food! They ordered local dishes, picked best local places to eat and offered up backgrounds on all the unique, odd and yummy things available. All authentic and fantastic. The trip will always be one of our top picks!

This was more than an amazing bike tour. The bike rides and boat excursions showcased the country and the people. The city tours (Hanoi and Saigon) provided information about the history and culture of the country. Our guides, Cuong and Loc, made sure that we were well hydrated and fed exploring and tasting local cuisine. The food was fantastic. The hotels we stayed at were so beautiful and thoughfully chosen. The Pu Luong Jungle Lodge was amazing. You've earn your name as this truly was Art - Art of Bicycle Trips!

Embarking on Art of Cycles' Vietnam tour was a two-wheeled odyssey that unfolded the country's diverse tapestry from Hanoi to Saigon. In the North, guides Nam and driver Kong seamlessly navigated us through Hanoi's historic streets and the breathtaking landscapes of Cat Ba, Halong Bay, Pu Luong and Nimn Bin. Transitioning to the South, guide Phuc illuminated the rich history of the area, and gave us a comprehensive history of the impact of French, Chinese and US on the country. The beauty of the Mekong Delta, cycling through vibrant markets, charming villages, and along the Perfume River, the journey became a deeply personal exploration of Vietnam. The guides, especially Nam, Kong, and Phuc, were not just navigators but storytellers, infusing each pedal stroke with cultural insights and personal anecdotes. Their passion elevated the trip, revealing the authentic heart of Vietnam. Cycling emerges as the perfect conduit, offering an intimate connection to the real Vietnam, from bustling urban streets to tranquil rural landscapes. Art of Cycles delivered an unparalleled adventure, proving that two wheels are the ultimate way to uncover the beauty, history, and warmth of this captivating country.

Doing this trip to Vietnam on by bike, we saw so much more than we otherwise would have. We went to out of the way places and really got to experience how people live. The guides were also knowledgable and accomodating. The excursions were fun and interesting. I learned so much about the country and its history. I would do a trip like this again for sure.
