Our tour of Albania on 13th. Sept 2025 was first class. The guides Erlis and Idgit were the best of any tour I have participated in, with their local knowledge, safety and care that we were always taken care of. The food, scenery, and routes all we had hoped for. I highly recommend this tour for anyone with reasonable fitness although electric bikes are a must as it has some challenging hills.

Great trip. The guides were a well of information and very personable. The nature wonderful and the hills took a lot of guts to conquer. Overall a great tour. The bikes also were very usable.

In a word “sublime”. From the moment we met Erlis and Idit, our guides for the tour, we knew we were in the hands of two, delightful professionals. 9 days of consistent, thoughtful, considerate guiding, riding comfortably on high quality EBikes, meticulously maintained and always ready the next morning, fully charged. The choice and location of accommodation was excellent as was the food. Idit, our cycle tour leader, gave briefings constantly throughout the day, from a safety aspect & also on what we had to look forward to each day. Erlis, in vehicle support following, ensured our bottles were topped up, our mid-morning breaks consisted of beverages and snacks and constantly asked about our welfare. This tour was a great way to experience a taste of Albania from riding through untouched rural mountain villages to coastal areas and visiting several UNESCO sites, the balance was spot on. We arrived in Albania knowing little about the history nor culture, we left taking with us both Erlis’s and Idit’s enthusiasm of both. Art of Bicycle are fortunate to have both Erlis and Idit representing them on this Albania trip, top professionals

We had an amazing time cycling through Albania! Gorgeous countryside, delicious local meals and the warm, kind Albanian people all contribute to the wonderful memories & the Art of Bicycling organization was excellent - organized, responsive to our questions & very easy to work with. We cannot say enough about the local cycling company in Albania. Erlis Rizvanolli was exceptional - he was kind, genuinely considerate of all our needs , always made sure we were coping well with the itinerary, that we were “fed and watered, comfortable and happy”! He and the second guide Idit were both very knowledgable about Albanian history, geography & people and answered our endless questions with patience and enthusiasm. The cycling equipment was top of the line & the Ebikes were easy for first time Ebike riders to learn. An exceptional trip organized by an excellent company - highly recommend both Art of Bicycling and Erlis Rizvanolli’s local Albanian company!

All we had to do was ride! October in Albania provided great cycling weather and scenic and varied terrain. The cycling was safe with very little vehicular traffic. The long winding downhills were a reward for the many climbs in this mountainous country. Our guide Erlis and driver Idit anticipated almost all of our needs. The accommodation was comfortable and well located for exploring and enjoying the local areas after our days of cycling. Food provided was healthy, plentiful and delicious! A thoroughly enjoyable tour of this beautiful country!

Went to Albania with few preconceived ideas of what to expect and couldn't have been more pleased. Our local guide and vehicle support were very friendly, informative and helpful. Our local guide had great connections with the places we stopped for food and drink and I felt like we were treated with special regard in all aspects of the trip. Cycling is great as the roads were quiet for our October trip. Albania is full of mountains so expect some challenging hills. All the more reason to enjoy the views of ocean, shepherds, spectacular mountain vistas and food at the top.
