“We went on this amazing tour in May and couldn't have been happier with the experience. This is our third extended biking tour and it was by far the best. The biking routes included a lot of variety of landscapes and a great sample of the history of Japan. Shannon shared his love of Japanese culture, geography and food. It should go without saying that the food in Japan is extraordinary, but I was pleasantly surprised at how accomodating the tour guides and ryokans were of a vegan diet. Both guides offered constant support and wonderful photography. We felt pampered!
We rented e-bikes and that added to the fun of riding, which was a first for us. The biggest advantages to using the e-bikes were that we were never struggling and out of breath and that left more time to explore.
