They hold everything from pastels, pencils, graphite and charcoal sticks, scissors, sharpeners, blades, XL graphite and charcoal in the bottom drawer, art stix, pencil extenders, putty rubbers, blending stumps ..........and more. The boxes are raw, so that you can apply varnish, oil or paint them as it suits, which is a bonus.
