“don't do what I did and fail to read the instructions that say do not sharpen these pencils! I kept trying to sharpen them thinking that they were faulty until I read that they must not be sharpened with a regular sharpener. After I followed the instructions they were fine- I'm just really bad at knife sharpening so they are not great for me yet :)”
Hello Ray, thanks for taking the time to write this review and we are sorry to hear that you have been disappointed with the Charcoal Pencils. We would like to assist you with this issue to improve your experience. These pencils need to be knife sharpened. Regular pencil sharpeners are not recommended in this case as the twisting action causes them to chip and break.
