Not very difficult to replace for a novice could give just a tad more slack in the lines to make it just a bit easier

Installation was fairly simple. The only slight issue was some of the diagrams didn't match my grill. But, wasn't difficult to figure out and move on. There was plenty of wiring to get them reattached.

I called All Things Barbecue and told them my problem with my YS640. They said I needed a new Thermocouple to fix my problem and it fixed it. The length of the wire on the new thermocouple is shorter than the old one. Would help if the wire on the thermocouple was a little bit longer.

Wire leads need to be longer, tight fit.

The thermocouple can fail at anytime, replacement takes about an hour. Cable could be a couple of inches longer. If your don’t have one on hand order it now having it fail ruins your cook.
