“This is our favorite of Malcolm Reed's BBQ sauces. Don't let the title fool you - this isn't a vinegar sauce in the way that eastern Carolina BBQ sauces are vinegar sauces. It's a solid BBQ sauce that's been cut with vinegar to help dilute the sweet flavor and make it a bit runnier. You can use it as a stand alone for most things and it's great. I like to cut it the way that he often does, using a 50/50 blend of the vinegar sauce and his BBQ Sauce (which is on the sweet side). That combo makes a great flavor, and the color is phenomenal. Highly recommended.”

“Awesome flavor. Great change of pace flavor for our pork butt. The vinegar taste is not overpowering. Excellent alternative instead of a tomato-based sauce.”
