“I waited a long time to finally pull the trigger on this purchase. I was going back-and-forth between the 640 or the 1500. I have a family of seven where six of us eat like adults and then our little eight year-old. So I thought that with birthday parties and celebrations and even just a large dinner with multiple plate plates, I might need the larger smoker. I am glad I went with the smaller one. It is massive on the inside and has easily fit a brisket, two pork shoulders, and a tray of mac & cheese. Plus, knowing that I can easily switch it to direct grilling and grill up some hamburgers and hotdog while the meat is resting, makes this a true workhorse. After eight months of being outside with just the cover, there are no signs of any rust or defects in craftsmanship. I am extremely happy with my purchase.”

“The Yoder YS640s has exceeded my expectations! A quality built pellet grill (like a "tank" & made in the USA as other reviewers have stated), consistant cook temperatures, and great smoke has produced amazing bbq! Do your own research and you will find (as I did) the Yoder YS640s is consistantly rated as one of the best pellet smokers you can buy. Also, a quick shout out to ATB for an easy purchasing and shipping process.”

“Amazing unit of a smoke show. Heavy duty and still looks pretty. Very consistent heat setting with the FireBoard app. Everything about it is amazing. From a welder even the tack welds and grinding on the metal is amazing haha. Love this unit makes my old Traeger look like child play”

“I was hesitant to make the switch from my Big Green Egg to a pellet smoker because I had read several articles or watched several YouTube reviews that you just couldn’t get enough smoke flavor in your meat from a pellet smoker. After talking to a friend who had a Yoder ys640s smoker, I decided to give it a shot for two reasons. First, I was moving and was fairly certain my BGE would be damaged in the move; and second, I was looking for something that 100% American-made. Well, all I can say is “Wow, just Wow!”. So far, this smoker has exceeded all expectations, from quality of construction to the results of the cook. I have used a smoke tube to get extra smoke on long cooks, but everything I have made so far has had better results than I achieved with a BGE. So far, I have cooked beef ribs, reverse-seared Fillets, chicken, smoked hamburgers, and a massive bone-in pork butt. Every cook has been spot-on, and the integrated Fireboard has made monitoring exceptionally easy. I can not recommend this product highly enough. Bravo Yoder!”
