“These probes are without a doubt the best ones out there. But after 6 years and countless cooks one of mine was a little sketchy, so it was time to get prepared for the next cook. Service was quick and price was fair....now it's time to get back to cooking and enjoying the benefits.”

“the Yoder S series replacement probe is very accurate. When storing don't kink the wire as in time it will snap inside and the probe will not work anymore.”

“These seem to be the stock replacements for the Yoder S series smokers, which will inevitably fail. I'm on my fourth replacement of these probes. They work for 10 to 20 cooks then die. I've used Meatr probes as well, which lasted even fewer cooks. So, since you won't be able to avoid replacing these, they are fine and relatively inexpensive. Two stars because of the annoyance after spending two grand on a smoker, then needing to replace the replacements.”
