“I put the triple seasoning to the test right out of the box - scrambled eggs! Most people would use a coated non-stick pan for this. I opened the box, washed the skillet, put it on the stove to dry and heat up, dropped a knob of butter in it and poured in the scrambled eggs. Other than a spot about a 1 inch in diameter where I had some stickage, the eggs came out perfectly! No doubt that when I add to the seasoning with more cooks this is going to be my go-to pan. I would say the lighter weight of this pan compared to the original is marginal, not substantial. I admit that I do keep looking at the other high end brands of cast iron and think about pulling the trigger. Ultimately, I keep coming back to Lodge.”
