“I buy a lot of items online and rarely write reviews, especially a 5 star rating! I begin by lighting a few pieces of fat lighter then add 1/2" - 3/4" dia. kindling. About 15 min. later I add 1"- 1-1/2" pieces and about 20 min. later the floor temp. is 400°C and the outside thermometer is reading 450°C. I've added 2" dia. pieces and have gotten the oven outside thermometer reading over 500°C. 1" to 1 1/2" is the sweet spot. The Alfa One has created the perfect environment. The rest lies in our dough-making and oven skills to create the perfect pie! All around a very well-made product.”
