“Kind of a pricey addition but the drawer is a great addition to my smoker. Very well built and being powder coated is really nice too. There was a chip in the powder coating on the top side of the drawer but it's in a place that won't be seen so no harm. There is a top to the drawer that helps keep the heat from the pit at bay. Super easy to install on a fully assembled smoker. Take the existing front and back panels off and put the replacements in place. Slide the drawer in and your done.”

“After adding a few accessories like grill grates and the griddle to my YS640S, I was running into an issue of how to store the items along with other basics like a grill brush, putty knife, gloves etc. I saw this drawer and initially was thinking it was too pricey but I broke down and gave it a try. Like all Yoder products, this drawer is heavy-duty and well-made. It was easy to install and gives me the exact functionality I was looking for. I have all my accessories at hand. Expensive but I'd do it again. The one thing I would note is that I'm questioning if I'd want a SS front shelf as it's nice to be able to see through the shelf to see what's in the drawer.”

“This drawer is very sturdy and holds my cast iron griddle (very heavy), cooking shelves and utensils. I love the hook on the back for the extra shelf. Slides in and out very easily even when fully loaded. I will put gloves in there as they show in the picture but I was concerned they may get pretty warm (I guess I'll see), I think I will leave my instant read thermometers in the house. I did not put the smoker together when we received it (I was out of town - my son did it for me - it was a Father's Day present) but respect! Putting this drawer on was a real pain in the A$$. The hardware is very difficult to get to for an old, fat guy. But I did it and am very pleased with the result. Interested to see how the bearings hold up to the heat and elements after a few years of use.”

“Well built, quality is excellent but is too expensive for the benefit it provides. You need to advise folks that the insulating cover will not work after installation of the drawer.”
