“I love that these are 100% flavor wood - no fillers. I use these to bump up the smoke on shorter cooks in the pellet grill and so far I've been very happy. I've had issues with having to dry out pellets in the microwave (I was surprised by how much moisture some of the pellets carried by your friendly local home store were holding on to) before I could get them to reliably smolder/not put themselves out. I've not had any problems with these straight out of the bag. Right now I'm playing around with cold smoking cheeses trying to figure out which wood flavors pair best etc - can't wait to start doing some cured Charcuterie meats with them.”
