“Didn't even know these existed. Ordered on a whim, am comparing all the mail order brands I can find. So far Athena is better than, the Defender, Dollar Shave Club and Joy.
The handle is nicely balanced, feels nice in my hand, not slippery but no weird texture either. I like that the blades are open so hair rinses right through. I didn't use any gel or soap, just used a poof to exfoliate first and got an amazing close shave. No, Knicks or cuts or dragging. No discomfort or razor burn after. And it seems that the hair didn't come back as quickly. It's going to be a few more weeks before I'm done with my comparisons, but I'm fairly certain Athena is what I'll be sticking with.
